Have you ever found a "hidden gem"? Something that you can't believe the whole world doesn't know about because it's so fantastic. That's Salsa bikes.

We were introduced to Salsa about seven years ago by one of our employees who is an avid cyclist and who loves the Salsa brand. These are quality-made bikes designed by a company in Minnesota who is passionate about adventure cycling. Their mission is to make "the best possible bikes and accessories for adventure" riding. And they are achieving this mission.

About Salsa

Salsa designs bikes for cross country adventures with bikes called Fargo and Cutthroat. They tackle the wooded trails with a full-carbon fat tire bike called Beargrease. And their popular gravel bike, Journeyer, is one of my favorite bikes in my collection. I'll hold onto my "Sassy" Salsa for a long time (that's my bike's name), because she’s such a good bike. Now, Salsa has new electric bikes this year, and we're super excited. Introducing Salsa’s first electric bikes… Confluence and Tributary.

CONFLUENCE

Confluence is Salsa’s light electric gravel bike. It’s made for squeezing more adventure into each day. Chase gravel with low-torque assist, on-bike cargo features for any mission, and geometry designed for comfort and stability at higher ebike speeds — all in a discreet hub-drive system. Confluence is where capability meets convenience.

TRIBUTARY

Tributary is an electric off-pavement adventure bike. It was designed to be the best electric gravel bike for devouring big, burly dirt routes with speed and stability. The tributary’s comfortable, balanced e-gravel geometry and massive tire clearance roll smoothly at higher ebike speeds. Intuitive assist and on-bike cargo let you tackle demanding bikepacking routes, explore vast networks of forest roads, or tack extra miles on your gravel rides.
